Making the right choice of a secondary school for your child is an important decision to make.At beacon Light high school we aim to make it a decision you wont regret.This is because our focus has been to produce pupils that will attain academic excellence filled with the right moral values,spiritually and enthusiasm which will enable them the opportunity for a fulfilled life.To achieve this we have equipped ourselves with experience,dedicated and Graduate teachers with teaching qualifications well equipped laboratories for science,intro-tech,home economics and arts and craft.spacious library with up to date books Sports equipment and space for table tennis,basket ball,football etc Professional guidance and counselling services Spacious classroom well lit and ventilated.Comfortable buses for pick up and drop off Teacher student ratio 1:20.
Admissions Primary
At Beacon Light School we have an open door policy whereby everyone is welcome.Admissions are on a first come and class availability basis, though the special considerations are granted to families who already have children in our school.In order to work according to our pupils developmental stages and make learning fun, we strictly place our Pre-School pupils in classes that have activities planned according to their ages.This means that the pupils that attain the following ages by September will be placed in the following classes: Creche 6 months 17 monthsPre-Nursery 18 months 2 yearsPre-Nursery 2 years 3 yearsNursery 1 3 years 5 yearsNursery 2 4 years 5 yearsYear 1 5 years above
PROCEDURE
1..Print and fill your downloaded online form and bring to the School. 2 At the school, schedule for a welcome Appointment. 3 Original certificates, Immunization cards and previous results will be required and in most cases a placement test will be conducted. 4 Successful candidates will be given an admission slip, which should be taken to the Admin department for payments. Please retain your bank teller. 5 On completion of all payments students picks up school resources, completes registration, and presents admission slip to class teacher.
